We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, company details, phone number), usage data about how you interact with our platform, payment information processed securely via Razorpay (we do not store card details), and communications you send us.
We use your data to provide and improve the CapitalSync platform, match you with relevant investors, send transactional emails and WhatsApp notifications (with your consent), process payments, comply with legal obligations under SEBI, RBI, FEMA, and GDPR, and to prevent fraud and ensure platform security.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: (a) investors you explicitly choose to connect with, (b) payment processors (Razorpay, LemonSqueezy) for billing, (c) infrastructure providers (Railway, Cloudflare) under data processing agreements, and (d) when required by law.
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We maintain ISO 27001-aligned security controls, conduct regular penetration testing, and enforce role-based access controls on all data.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@capitalsync.net. We will respond within 30 days.

We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription plus 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations. You may request deletion of non-legally-required data at any time.
